Are you looking to get started in archery? Most clubs will require you to have completed a Beginners’ Course before allowing you to join. Perfect Aim Archery can help with that!
Our courses comply with Archery GB specifications and are run by experienced Archery GB coaches/instructors. You will learn about the rules of shooting, range etiquette, safety, equipment, shooting technique in both barebow and freestyle (Olympic style recurve), scoring and range layout. You’ll also have a lot of fun! The course is one day, 10am – 4:30pm so you get a lot of shooting time in!
We only have small groups on our courses, which means you will get lots of shooting time in and have a bespoke experience. Special discount rate available for family groups consisting of 2 adults and 2 children.

I recently attended a full day Beginners’ Course with Perfect Aim Archery, and it was a fantastic experience! Carlie and Chris taught us so much, and with a small class they had plenty of time to coach each of us to improve techniques massively over the course of the day. Very enjoyable day on the beginners course with Perfect Aim Archery. Our instructor, Carlie, was excellent, very supportive and gave us loads of information regarding equipment, shooting, safety and club membership etc. Got lots of shooting in with different techniques. Simply put – a wonderful beginners course that’s highly recommended.
Less-simply put – both Carlie and Carl turned the whole experience into a much more enjoyable day than I had anticipated. They were enthusiastic and very knowledgeable, coaching the group very effectively so that we were all sufficiently competent by the end of the day. Included within the course was an explanation of the various kit we would need to start with, recommendations on where to source it, and a demonstration of their own equipment.
